This video helped me so much. I’ve been an owner operator for 6 months now.
One thing to note, he keeps saying owner operators can write this off and that off. It’s actually any 1099 contractors. For example if you’re a company driver paid $0.65c per mile as 1099 CONTRACTOR, you can still write off the per diem cost. I think he should have said "independent contractor" and not only "owner operators".
Would it be the same for a lease purchase driver?
What about having to drive to ur employer to get into your new truck at the new company… for example its 267 miles and cost roughly $84 to fill the tank for someone to take you to work and get them back to their home
