I followed all the steps but at the end itβs saying I need to upload a power of attorney signature? Thereβs no way around it

This is a video for 3 years ago and nothing have changed . Today I requested a DOT and MC Number and it was basically the same steps. What is missing if more related with personal information or consent like compliance for which I I have a question . When you finish with authority registration for a DOT and MC number you will receive right away a call for designation of process agent to discuss compliance requirements?

What should I answer in the Business Description section, to the question: ownership and control, when filling out an application for MC DOT numbers, if I am not a US citizen and am not a green card holder, but I live in the US and have a Work permit: which of these: 1) owned / controlled by a citizen of the United States or 2) owned / controlled by a citizen of the other foreign country. And how can this or that choice affect, can it facilitate or complicate business processes. FMCSA representatives say if you foreign choose foreign,if you citizen choose citizen but it seems he didn’t really want to bother answering this question. Can a Non Resident foreigner able to get MC in USA ?
I don’t have an LLC or legal business name as in anything registered with the state. What do I put under legal business name? My personal name tied to my social security number which I will be using as my EIN?
What if I planned on carrying hazmat at some point. Could I go back and change it.

Hello and thank you for sharing. Iβm super excited about trying to start my own business. I am currently a semi truck driver that have all my endorsements and was wondering if I clicked that I would take hazmat freight in cargo vans or box trucks will that require me to have to go through a lot more stuff to get my authority? And if Iβm over 10,001 pounds will I need ELD to keep track of driving times. Another question would I have to go through a lot if I picked that I would go to Canada. Was just wondering if I can travel anywhere then it leaves more opportunities for me right? Was just thinking if I started seeing a lot of Canada runs then I will have to go through a lot to get Canada added to my drive roster right. Again thank you so much your awesome.

so as of 2025 this video seems to be out of date. when i go to the web site and follow your directions that registration page is completely different on my end. so if there a update version of how to do this because its not the same as 3 years ago ??
